Canada's Mike "SirWatts" Watson, who recently became a two-time EPT winner in Monte Carlo (technically a PCA and an EPT champ), just took a chunk out of the chip leader "O Vulgo". "O Vulgo" opened to 7k from the middle, and Watson called from the button.

The 2♠4♣2♣ flop went check-bet-call for 5,713 and "O Vulgo" checked again on the 3♠ turn. Watson fired 41,276, more than the pot of ~34k and got the call. When the river came 5♦ "O Vulgo" checked again, then called Watson's bet of 116,828. Watson showed down 6♠5♠ for the win.

Dumitru "pora adrian" Pora just took the chip lead with almost 700k after a huge pot where their kings held against ace-king. The money went in preflop after "aminolast" raised early, then shoved for more than 150k when Dumitru "pora adrian" Pora three-bet the cutoff to 15k and "DrawinDead" four-bet to 42k from the small blind.

Only Pora called with the kings, and hit a king on the flop for the win. Meanwhile, Dinesh "NastyMinder" Alt also busted on another table.

Shortly before the second break of the day, Liviu "0Human0" Ignat jumped above 400k with a turned two pair against Team Pro member Lex "L.Veldhuis" Veldhuis. Velduis opened under the gun to 3,080 and Sam "SamSquid" Grafton called from the cutoff, as did Ignat from the big blind.

Ignat checked the 3♥K♦9♥ flop and Veldhuis bet 3,742 and got two calls to the 4♣ turn. They all checked to the 6♠ river where Ignat fired an over-pot bet of 30,800. Only Veldhuis called, but he mucked when Ignat showed four-three.
