Espen "locomi" Myrmo ended Day 1 as the chip leader, bagging up 3,578,252 in chips.
Myrmo and the other two players with over three-million in chips, Andreas "Skjervoy" Torbergsen and Ami "UhhMee" Barer spent much of the day battling over the top spots, including a big spot near the end of the night where Torbergsen made a straight against the set of aces of "BringMeTheSD" to push back to within a few hundred thousand of the chip lead.
