Lex Veldhuis

Team PokerStars Pro Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis is brimming with confidence after beating some of the world's best players on his way to taking down the $5,200 Titans Event this week.

In an exclusive interview with the PokerStars Blog, Veldhuis revealed he would have been delighted at winning an $11 buy-in SCOOP event, but the fact it was a high-stakes event with a big prize and against top opposition had left him feeling "maxxed out."

Team Lex tops the SCOOP League right now, and Veldhuis was full of praise for his team members. Find out what Veldhuis had to say over at the PokerStars Blog.

Andras Nemeth Secures a Fourth SCOOP Title

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Hungarian superstar Andras "probirs" Nemeth added a fourth SCOOP title to his already impressive poker CV when he came out on top in the SCOOP 55-H: $1,050 NLHE 7-Max Turbo PKO. Nemeth outlasted a talented 210-strong field to capture SCOOP title number four and $47,218 in prize money.

Victory in high-stakes events is never easy because of the high-quality players that frequent them. Nemeth had to contend with the likes of Roman "Gogac sniper" Hrabec, reigning SCOOP High Main Event Champion Felipe "lipe piv" Boianovsky, and his heads-up opponent, Matthew "Stumfed" Stumpf.

Earlier this week, Stumpf won two SCOOP events in the space of three hours, but Nemeth denied him a remarkable hat trick.
