May Deep Stack Flashback: Chanpiseth Keam is the Defending Champ
Level 12
: 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Last year, this tournament attracted 432 players and offered up a $216,000 prize pool, well ahead of the $150k guarantee.
According to updates from the event, the last three players held relatively similar stacks but Chanpiseth Keam was ahead of the other two. It took very little time for the three remaining players to reach an agreement to chop up the remaining prize pool and crown Keam as champ.
Others to cash the tournament were Mike Newman (13th - $2,160), Joel Harwood (16th - $1,706), Richard Rice (23rd - $1,339), Jason Appel (30th - $1,188), and Matthew Kuba (40th - $1,080).
