Joe Ciffa has been the talk of the 2014 Seneca Niagara Summer Slam series. On Saturday Ciffa won Event #2 outright for more than $10,000, and on Sunday he pocketed another $4,000 by chopping Event #3 three ways and going on to win his second trophy in as many days.
There won't be another winner here until Thursday when Event #5 comes to a close. Here's a look at the complete schedule for the 2014 Summer Slam.
A total of 83 players have survived through the first four flights of Event #5. Lam Ngo set the pace early in Flight A by bagging 234,300 in chips and is still on top. Ngo will have 96 big blinds to work with when Day 2 commences on Thursday with the blinds at 1,200/2,400/300.
