Visbisky Bites The Dust

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alex Visbisky
Alex Visbisky

Alex Visbisky ran the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} into Rick Block's {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for his last 140,000, and looked good for the double up.

However, Block managed to flop a flush draw and hit the river to send Visbisky home 19th. With that, there is now a redraw for seats at the final two tables.

Tighe Times Two

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Pat Tighe
Pat Tighe

Pat Tighe shoved for less than 100,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Charles Johnson looked him up holding the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Tighe liked the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and the {q-Clubs} turn that made him top pair. The river didn't improve Johnson and Tighe doubled, leaving Johnson short.

Break!

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The 19 players left have been sent off on a 10-minute break and will return with the start of Level 21.

Block Over Wells

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Rick Block
Rick Block

Rick Block just stole a little of Jeff Wells' thunder and a gaggle of chips as well.

The two had put about 120,000 in the middle by the time they got to the river of a {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board, where Wells fired 80,000.

Block mulled it over for a minute, looking confused. Eventually he figured it out, and made the call with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Wells had his hand in the cookie jar with the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and the pot was pushed to Block.

Wagner On Top

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Wagner
Dan Wagner

Dan Wagner was the player who busted Bob Kiehl, making kings full of jacks on the river against Kiehl's three kings with an ace kicker.

As a result, it's now Wagner who leads in the final 19, sitting on close to 900,000 already.

Moilsley Mucked By Block

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Weiyi Moilsley
Weiyi Moilsley

Weiyi Moilsley made it 22,000 and after Mike Rellinger called, Rick Block jammed it in.

Moilsley called off and after Rellinger folded, a classic race was revealed with Block holding the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Moilsley on the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Block took the lead on the {5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and held through the {6-Spades} turn and {j-Hearts} river.

Falling Fast

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Joseph Reichenbacher
Joseph Reichenbacher

Joseph Reichenbacher busted Daniel Beirworth when his {a-}{q-} made two pair versus Beirworth's fours.

Reichenbacher has a big lead now on 750,000, meanwhile, Hassan Jamil, Greg Miller and Bob Kiehl have all gone broke.

Wells Moves Up

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Jeff Wells
Jeff Wells

Jeff Wells just pushed Alex Visbisky off a massive pot to crest the 600,000 mark.

We picked up the action on the turn of an {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board with Wells checking. Visbisky bet 45,000 and Wells check-raised to 110,000. Visbisky called, but when Wells bombed for more than Visbisky's 250,000 behind on the {9-Hearts} river, Visbisky went deep into the tank.

He emerged five minutes later, into Level 20, with a fold.
