Hand #6: Pace opened to 2,500 and a player behind shoved for 19,500. Pace folded.
Hand #7: There was one limper in front of him and Pace folded.
Hand #8: Pace folded under the gun plus one.
Hand #9: Pace made it 2,500 from under the gun and three players called. The flop came and Pace checked. Randy Pfeifer made it 7,600 and only Pace called.
The turn brought the and Pace checked. Pfeifer bet 22,000 and Pace called. The river came the and Pace checked again. Pfeifer moved all in for 43,100. Pace folded.
The orbit ended with Pace still on 165,000 and firmly in the chip lead.
Bob Brownell is the latest player rapidly approaching 100,000 in chips.
Brownell got there after flopping both a flush and an open-ended straight draw. He got it in and knocked out two players in the hand when a flush card came.
