Art Demmerley has fired a few bullets into this event through the first three heats, but the one here in the fourth is working out the best so far.
Demmerley picked up the and managed to get it in three ways on an all-club flop. One opponent was short, and the other had the , but after the turn and river bricked, Demmerley's hand held.
After picking up that 50,000-chip pot, he now sits among the chip leaders.

Blake Napierala made it 1,350 from early position and only Chris Harker called right behind him.
Napierala checked the flop, but called when Harker led for 2,000. They both checked the turn.
The river came the and Napierala took the lead, betting 2,800. Harker fired back with a raise to 7,000 total, and after about a minute, Napierala called.

Two local legends just sat down, one for the second time tonight.
Rick Block managed to make it about 30 minutes on his first bullet before he flopped two pair and got his chips in the middle. Block's opponent called with top-top and made a better two pair on the river to send him the cage firing a second bullet.
He's now got a new seat at the table right beside where Jason Nablo just sat down, but the life of Mr. Nablo appears a little more charmed right now.
He sauntered in the room at the end of Level 5 and limped in from early position in his first hand. Like the hero he is, Nablo flopped a set of fives and with the help of two queens on the turn and river, he made him a boat. Three and half minutes into his day and Nablo's half way to a double up already.
His future is so bright, he's wearing sunglasses in a dimly lit room.

Orchard Park, NY's David Paluch has vaulted into the chip lead after knocking out two players in a single hand.
Paluch, a 2016 WNYPC title holder, got it in against a set of deuces and two napkins with the nut flush draw. The flush hit and Paluch now sits with the tallest stack in the room.

A pair of players have joined the double up club headed into the first break.
Buffalonian Kyle Cameron made a full house to collect his and now sits among the leaders.
In the meantime, Andy Ranaletti had dipped down to 4,000, but kept finding a way to win pots until he had two starting stacks instead of one. Several of these pots apparently came at the expense of John Abraham, who ultimately tilted his way out of the flight before the first break.
