Damian Baird

Damian Baird has moved into sole possession of the chip lead with 22 left after knocking out Frank Tatar.

Brian Patterson bet 125,000 into a pot of 250,000 heads up with Jeff Hobrecker on the river of a {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} board.

Hobrecker tanked for three full minutes before folding. With that pot, Patterson moved into a close race for the chip lead with Michael Malm and Damian Baird.

Bowman Bows Out on the Bubble

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Mark Bowman got down to one single 500-chip and a 2012 Seneca Fall Poker Classic hat.

He was all in for the antes and had the {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} heads up against the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}. No deuce, no chop and Bowman bowed out on the bubble.

They're in the money now and redrawing for seats in the final 27.

Classy Guy

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Guy Klass switched places with Veerab Zakarian on the leader board after calling off with kings against a Zakarian shove.

Zakarian had big slick and missed.

Hand-For-Hand On The Bubble

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Budwey Salhab took a chunk out of chip leader Jeff Hobrecker, knocking him out of the top spot by turning big slick into a winner against tens.

In the meantime, they're on the stone bubble now with 28 remaining. Lose one more and they're all in the money. They will also redraw for seats at the final three tables when they hit 27.

He's On Fire!

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Peter Beshay
Peter Beshay

Peter Beshay started the day with just 43,000 in chips. Now he's got 600,000 and a spot among the leaders.

He's running super hot and just picked up two black aces, getting a fair amount of value out of Brian Patterson by betting the flop and river on a three-spade, queen-jack-high board that also contained a pair of threes.

Aces were good and Beshay leapfrogged Patterson on the leader board continuing his meteoric rise.
