Drea Karlsen
Drea Karlsen

Simon Isbeck raised to 2,400 in the cutoff and was called by SiGMA poker ambassadors John Arne Riise and Drea Karlsen in the blinds. The flop came 532 and the action checked around to the 10 on the turn.

Riise led out with a bet of 2,500 on the turn and Karlsen raised to 7,500. Isbeck folded and Riise called to see the 8 on the river. Riise led out again with a bet of 4,000 and Karlsen countered with a raise to 20,000. Riise wasted little time before dumping his cards in the muck and Karlsen took over the chip lead.

There was a raise to 3,000 from under the gun which the small blind called and Deniz Anselmo came along from the big blind. The flop came Q85 and Anselmo check-called a bet of 3,500 from the under-the-gun player.

They went heads-up to the 6 on the turn where Anselmo check-called another bet of 11,000 from his opponent. The 5 paired the board on the river and both players tapped the table. Anselmo showed AQ which was just enough to better his opponent's KQ for another pot.
