Dorea Runs Into Aces

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Christian Rico raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Romulo Dorea ripped all in for around 28,000 from the small blind. Rico instantly called and the two players exchanged some friendly banter before the cards were tabled.

Dorea was fighting an uphill battle but the flop of K105 gave him some hope with a straight draw. The 8 on the turn was irrelevant and the K river also bricked out, sending Dorea to the rail.
