Bergamini Lands the First Blow, Rizzo Finishes It Off

Catching the tail end of a hand, Flavia Bergamini was being awarded a full double up with her A♠A♥ on a board of A♦9♦2♦8♥10♣. Her opponent also flopped a set with 9♠9♣ but was forced to pass over a double up.

On the next hand, that player pushed all in for his last 17,000 chips from under the gun which got a couple of players to contemplate before folding. However, Leonardo Rizzo was in the big blind and instantly flicked in a chip to call.

The flop came 9♣8♥7♦ and Rizzo managed to pick up a straight draw with his napkins. The 9♠ paired the board on the turn but the 5♥ on the river gave Rizzo a straight to eliminate his opponent.

Pablo Sequeira raised to 2,100 in middle position and was called by the big blind. The flop came 10♥4♠4♣ and Sequeira continued with a bet of 1,200. The big blind check-raised to 3,800 and Sequeira called.

The turn was the A♦ and the big blind checked again. Sequeira fired out a bet of 2,400 and his opponent quickly folded.

On the next hand, Marco Alves opened to 2,000 from under the gun and Sequeira called on his left. They went heads-up to a flop of 7♣5♠3♣ and Alves announced a bet of 4,500. Sequeira called and the 4♥ landed on the turn.

Alves checked this time and Sequeira jammed all in as the bigger stack. Alves thought for a minute and then called off his stack of 23,900. Sequeira tabled Q♣Q♦ which was ahead of Alves' 8♥8♦. The river was the 10♣ and Sequeira raked in another pot, eliminating Alves in the process.

There was a raise to 2,200 in middle position and Gilmar Machado defended from the big blind. The flop fell A♠10♣3♣ and Machado check-called a bet of 3,500 from his opponent.

The 7♠ landed on the turn and both players checked to the 8♣ on the river. Machado led out with a bet of 6,000 this time and his opponent looked him up. Machado flipped over A♣J♦ for top pair and his opponent couldn't beat it.

After a couple of limps, Leonardo Rizzo jammed all in from the blinds for around 15,000 having lost a good chunk of his chips previously. He was called by one of the limpers and the cards were on their backs.

The flop came J♣5♦2♦ and Rizzo started some banter after flopping two pair. The K♣ on the turn gave his opponent some hope but the 4♣ on the river ensured Rizzo of a double up.

Robinson Makes Quads in Epic Cooler

German Morte raised to 2,400 in early position and Lukas Robinson just called from the big blind. The flop fell 8♥7♥6♣ and Robinson led out with a bet of 2,000 which Morte called.

The 7♠ paired the board on the turn and Robinson sized up a bet of 8,500 this time. Morte still called and the A♣ peeled off on the river. Robinson thought for a minute before shoving all in as the bigger stack. Morte wasted no time before calling off his stack of around 30,000 only to see the bad news.

Robinson flipped over 7♣7♦ for quad sevens as he picked up his camera to continue filming. Morte was devastated when he rolled over A♠A♥ for the best full house and was forced to exit the tournament.

Vladimir Vorobev and Luis Araneda engaged in a four-bet pot with around 25,000 in the middle heading to a flop of A♥10♣3♠. Vorobev led out with a bet of 3,500 from the cutoff and Araneda raised to 8,500 on the button which Vorobev just called.

The turn was the 4♦ and both players checked to the 3♦ on the river. Vorobev led out again with a bet of 7,500 this time and Araneda quickly called. Vorobev rolled over A♠A♣ for a full house and Araneda conceded the pot.
