The turn showed A♣A♦3♦2♦ when Simon Isback faced the all-in of Marciel Cerbito. He went into the tank, having suffered multiple setbacks throughout the day already, and eventually declared "I call".
Simon Isback: A♥Q♥
Marciel Cerbito: Q♦J♦
Isback needed to improve but the 7♠ river ended his run, as he was marginally covered.
Heads-up to the A♥5♥5♣Q♣ turn, Edilberto Gopez made it 60,000 to go and then faced the check-shove by Rodolf Ramo for 185,000. Gopez asked for a count but folded the A♣ face-up, he was shown Q♥7♥ for inferior two pair and the flush draw.
Three ways to the 7♦4♦2♠ flop, Ivan Dela Cruz checked in the small blind and Michael Concepcion bet 19,000 in the big blind. Nikolas Rivera called from under the gun and Dela Cruz folded.
The 4♣ turn was checked and Concepcion bet the 9♥ river for only 12,000. Rivera called with the K♦9♦ to beat Q♠7♠ in showdown.
The start of the new level has brought no major action yet and the next pay jump awaits once the field is down to the last 27 players. That's also when the field will be shuffled entirely as the final three tables require a full redraw, after which those still in move to the other side of the tournament area.
Level: 26
Blinds: 3,000/6,000
Ante: 6,000
After seven levels have been completed on Day 2, the field has been reduced to the last 29 hopefuls and they are now on a scheduled 15-minute break.
Edzel Villares limped in and Edilberto Gopez made it 20,000 to go. The initial limper then reraised to 90,000 and Gopez came along to the 9♦4♦2♣ flop on which Villares just moved all-in right away. Gopez asked for a count and called when it was deemed to be for 225,500 total.
Edzel Villares: A♥K♠
Edilberto Gopez: 7♣7♦
The A♦ turn saw Villares bang with his fist on the table as he took the lead. He needed to dodge diamonds and sevens still and Gopez demanded for a seven, which indeed came on the 7♠ river!
Henrik Tollefsen was all-in and at risk for the last 140,000 with J♥J♣ against the A♥K♥ of chip leader Gursimran Brar. The window card was a king but the flop brought K♠J♠8♦ to confirm a strong lead for Tollefsen. His double was confirmed on the 2♠ turn and 4♦ river runout.
In the meanwhile, Terry Gonzaga eventually lost the remainder of his short stack and bowed out just shy of the final three tables.
On the river of a 9♣4♣2♣3♦6♠ board, Paul Tirnovean block-bet out of the small blind for 21,000. Patrick Clarke raised it up to 87,000 and was reluctantly paid off to reveal his A♣8♣ for the flopped nut flush from under the gun.
Tirnovean flashed his 9♦9♥ for top set and the Irishman said "that could have been a lot more". Tirnovean said Clarke was capable of raising with a blocker and didn't give him a five, unless it was perhaps ace-five.
