Terje Bratberg raised to 2,500 and was called two ways including by Gary Thompson in the big blind. Only Thompson check-called the K♦9♥3♦ flop for 2,500 and the 4♥ turn for 6,300. He then checked the 2♠ river with 13,400 behind. Bratberg bet 15,000 and Thompson eventually paid it off.
Bratberg tabled his A♥K♠ for top pair and top kicker, which beat Thompson's K♣10♥.
Maxwell Rosete raised from 2,000 to 6,000 and AJ Acdal then reraised to 18,000 behind against the table chip leader. After brief consideration, Rosete sent his cards into the muck and remained with more than 200 big blinds.
One table over, Andy Co bet the A♦Q♣6♣10♥ turn for 7,000 and Edmon Rebadulla called in the cutoff. Co checked the 7♦ river and so did his opponent to reveal his 10♣8♣ for a turned pair of tens and flush draw that had bricked off. Rebadulla won the pot with the Q♠J♥ for a pair of queens.
Joderek Bautista was one of two players at risk on a board of 7♥5♣4♥4♦6♥ and exposed the A♣7♣ for the flopped top pair and top kicker. He ended up third-best, as he couldn't beat the 10♠10♦ of Raymond Gomez. However, the main and side pot all went to Martin Astorga who had the best of it with Q♥Q♠ to double through Gomez for 37,900.

In a classic preflop race, Royly Oracion was all-in for 57,200 with the Q♥Q♠ and up against the A♥K♦ of Jeehyun Jung. The board ran out Q♣J♥2♥4♣7♣ and queens improved to a set to put a major dent into the stack of Jung.
Finn Ove Penderak was able to wrestle some chips off the table chip leader Sumay Mishra, who then came back out on top with pure aggression. Anthony gabitan called a bet of 2,800 by Mishra on the J♥4♥4♦ turn and then check-folded when the Q♠ turn led to another barrel worth 11,600.
