Wheatley Rises; Barnard Plummets

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Rudalf Frick was sent over top table 13 and paid off a river bet by Russel Wheatley on the 7529J board and couldn't beat the KJ of Wheatley.

Frick then got it in preflop for 235,000 from the button with A10 and was called by Richard Barnard with the 99.

The AQ7J9 board gave Frick an unbeatable flush on the turn, Barnard's rivered set was meaningless.

SM Doubles Against Karrim Once More

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

SM three-bet jammed for 175,000 with the A6 and was called by Ahmed Karrim with the A9 in an early position.

The [Qhh6s2h8d] board delivered another blow to Karrim as SM hit the weaker kicker to double.

Gamsy Eliminated by Le Roux

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Adam Gamsy
Adam Gamsy

Adam Gamsy raised to 30,000 on the button and Divan Le Roux three-bet the small blind. It folded back to Gamsy, who jammed for 310,000 and was quickly called.

Adam Gamsy: A4 All in
Divan Le Roux: QQ

The Q74 flop left Gamsy with a mountain to climb and he needed running cards to survive. Among them was the A turn, as he needed another ace. There was no miracle rabbit pulled out of the hat as the 10 river sent Gamsy to the payout desk

Down to the Final Four Tables

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jedd Kossew
Jedd Kossew

MAJ had been eliminated from the feature table in 38th place just before the break and Jedd Kossew was the next to fall on the outer tables when play resumed.

He jammed the A2 into the 55 of Rudalf Frick in the next seat blind on blind.

The 842QJ board provided no help and Kossew bowed out next.

Matthew Mulhall then only had six blinds behind in the big blind and called all-in to a big button raise by Jean Souprayenmestry.

Matthew Mulhall: Kx3x All in
Jean Souprayenmestry: JJ

The J665A board gave jacks a full house and Mulhall the walk to the payout desk.

SM Doubles Off Karim

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

SM was all-in out of the small blind for the last 84,000 with the AJ and Ahmed Karrim looked him up with the K10 from an early position.

Both players hit a pair on the Q102J6 and SM survived once again. That was just before the end of the level, and this table will move to the live stream with the following counts.

In the late stages of one of the starting days, Jedd Kossew lost a massive pot with aces against the pocket jacks of Gareth Fourie.

Now he opened to 25,000 and then called the shove of Wessel Conradie for 122,000 total on the button.

Wessel Conradie: JJ All in
Jedd Kossew: AA

"It's a cursed hand," Rudalf Frick said and the bad beat unfolded on the J8496 board to keep Conradie in contention.

End of the Road for de Bruyns

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Reza de Bruyns
Reza de Bruyns

Over on the outer tables, Reza de Bruyns pushed all-in after the KJ7 flop out of the big blind and was looked up by Rohan Conradie from two seats over in an early position.

Reza de Bruyns: K10 All in
Rohan Conradie: KQ

De Bruyns had a kicker problem and picked up some possible help with the 8 turn.

"Nine!" he demanded but the 8 river only paired the board to let the kicker play.

Joey Weissman had lost some chips while Nic Ioannoy started building a wall of chips over on table 12.

Ioannoy took on Jean Souprayenmestry and faced the shove by the French player on the 63256 board. Souprayenmestry was all-in for 124,000 and Ioannoy eventually paid it off.

Souprayenmestry tabled A6 and Ioannoy tossed his cards into the muck after paying off his opponent.
