Gilbert Tin Fook raised to 20,000 with the K♣Q♦ from under the gun and Gareth Fourie called with the 7♠7♣ in middle position. Colin Horgan three-bet to 80,000 on the button with A♠A♦ and the blinds folded. Tin Fook ripped it in for 268,000 to force out Fourie, while Horgan obviously snapped it off.
The A♣K♥4♦A♥4♣ runout gave Horgan quads and Tin Fook the trip to the payout desk.
Gavin Sardini jammed the 5♥3♥ and Wessel Conradie then moved all-in over the top to isolate,
"I gonna need a lot of help," Sardini said and another player jokingly said he would hit a straight flush.
Conradie's K♠K♥ were miles ahead but fell behind until the 9♣8♣3♣5♣ turn. The river was the K♦ and Sardini was gone.
The next casualty soon after was Jaron Kavnat as the post bubble. He had the A♣4♠ for a short stack and was called by Joey Weissman with the J♦J♠. Kavnat found hope for a comeback only to get rivered on the A♠K♣10♦2♥J♥ board.
SM jammed up his stack after forcing a fold from Christopher Dean. It was then Dean who got it in against Divan Le Roux with A♥Q♦ versus 10♦10♠ and Le Roux stayed ahead on the K♠8♥6♠J♥8♦ runout to double for 141,000.
Soon after that, Dean pulled out all the tricks and put on the back pack when he was at risk versus Sugen Singh preflop.

The 5♣4♣4♥10♠4♠ board was no threat for Dean and he sat back down. Singh was left short and busted soon after.
Over on the live stream feature table, Vygandas Simuntis was all-in for 82,000 from an early position and Gilbert Tin Fook did so from the button for just shy of ten blinds. Both were called by Imran Bhojani from under the gun.

A short-stacked BC Van Rooyen was all-in and Max Deveson got the chips in thereafter only for the nearly even-stacked Jean Souprayenmestry to look them up.

Bradley Moore raised to 27,000 and Keegan Naidoo called on the button. Johnny Bland then three-bet jammed from the small blind and Moore called all-in, Naidoo folded.

The J♠10♥2♠6♠7♥ board was not without a sweat but Bland held onto his lead.
"You just had king-queen, I didn't think you'd have it again. What am I supposed to do with two pair?" BN Lubbe said after his stack was shipped over to Hennie Appel. The 10♣9♥ of Lubbe had flopped two pair but the J♠ river gave Appel the king-high straight.
MAJ then doubled through Gavin Sardini when A♠A♣ held versus K♥Q♣ on a board of 9♥5♠4♠4♥7♦.
Brandon Bruintjies limp-called a raise by Ahmed Karrim in the small blind and they then somehow got it in after the Q♦6♠6♣ flop. Karrim bet small, Bruintjies raised to 50,000 and Karrim reraised to 90,000. The shove by Bruintjies for almost 400,000 followed and Karrim instantly called.

With big stacks willing to put the chips in, the fireworks kicked off on a A♣10♥5♣ flop when Russel Wheatley was all-in for 272,000 and Diane Walker called with the covering stack.
