Without any major betting action leading up to the K♥9♣2♠10♥7♥ river, Gavin Sardini bet 9,000 from an early position. Nico Wiechers went into the tank and used one time bank extension before he called.
Sardini tabled his A♠J♠ for ace-jack high and Wiechers won the pot with the A♥10♦ for a turned pair of tens and nut flush blocker.

The flop showed Q♥10♠2♥ and Braam Van Huyssteen checked, then called a bet worth 7,000 by Norman Cherry on the button. It repeated for the same amount on the 10♣ turn and Van Huyssteen then jammed the 6♥ river for 30,600.
Cherry instantly sighed vividly and asked for a count. He ultimately declared "I fold" and Van Huyssteen showed his K♠J♣.
"What is that?`" Cherry asked and another player replied "king high".
While the hand played out, two new entries took a seat in Huawei Sun and Gordon Padayachee.
Alan Jung was not quite happy when he banged his hand on the table after losing his last all-in showdown against Jamie Vilela. Shortly after, Ronit Chamani arrived to take her seat after the conclusion of the ZAR 50,000 High Roller and to see where she finished, follow the ongoing live stream action above the live updates.
Her new table saw Ting Zhao win a showdown pot when he bet the 8♥5♠2♣ flop for 3,000 and chip leader Cliton Taliwanth in the big blind check-called. They checked down the 6♦ turn and 8♠ river for Taliwanth to expose the 6♥2♥. Zhao earned the pot with the Q♠Q♦ after counterfeiting the two pair of Taliwanth.
Cliton Taliwanth raised to 2,000 and Rayhaan Adam then jammed for 23,200 in the small blind. Dirk Steenkamp called in the big blind, as did initial raiser Taliwanth. On the Q♠10♠7♥ flop, Steenkamp checked before subsequently folding when Taliwanth made it 25,000 to go.
Rayhaan Adam: A♠10♣
Cliton Taliwanth: A♦Q♦
Adam had a mountain to climb and found no escape on the 6♥ turn nor the 4♥ river. At the same time, Howard Lipman also lose the remainder of his severe short stack one table over.
Edgar Antezana raised to 1,900 and was called three ways including by Gareth Fourie, Rayhaan Adam and Dirk Steenkamp in the big blind. The J♥9♥2♥ flop was checked to Antezana, who bet 5,000. Only Steenkamp called with a grin on the face and checked in the dark prior to the 9♠ turn, Antezana checked back.
Steenkamp still grinned when he bet the Q♦ river for 5,000. Antezana called and won the pot with Q♥J♣ as he beat the K♠J♦ of Steenkamp.
Braam Van Huyssteen bagged up a very healthy stack on Day 1a and then busted in the ZAR 30,000 Single Day High Roller. Bored with nothing else to do, which he clarified himself before entering Day 1b, he jumped into the action against Danny Dayani. On a J♣5♠5♥ flop, Dayani check-raised to 12,000 and Van Huyssteen jammed for 36,800.
Dayani asked for a count and reluctantly folded to get shown the A♣A♦.
On a flop of K♣9♥6♦, Jaryd Jardien checked and then moved all-in when Bradley Moore bet 15,000. The shove was for very few chips more and Moore called with the A♠Q♠. Jardien's K♠Q♥ were ahead and that remained to be the case on the 9♣ turn and 2♦ river.
"Hah, now you get your chips back," Moore told Jardien.
