Over on the outer table, Gavin Sardini raised to 35,000 from under the gun and KM called on the button while the blinds folded.
The Q♦10♦4♣ flop saw Sardini check-call for 45,000 and he then led the 7♥ turn for 65,000. KM raised it up to 230,000 and called all-in once Sardini pushed.
KM: 7♦6♦
Gavin Sardini: K♦K♥
KM was on a flush draw but instead caught two pair on the 6♠ river to double. Both stacks were counted and KM doubled for 453,000.
That left Sardini with 10,000 only and forced all-in from the big blind in the next hand.
Giovanni Zanette raised to 30,000 and Vishal Ghoorbin called in the small blind. The two active players checked the 8♦8♥2♦ flop. Ghoorbin bet the Q♠ turn and Zanette folded.
Gavin Sardini: 4♦3♠
Vishal Ghoorbin: K♥Q♣
No card in the deck could help Sardini and he was already on the way to the payout desk by the time the 5♦ river completed the board. He exited in 20th place for ZAR38,800 ($2,134)
