Bellande's Straight Beats Colman's Set

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dan Colman fired 45,000 on the {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop against Jean-Robert Bellande. Bellande called, and the turn was the {4-Hearts}. Colman bet 80,000, and Bellande called once again.

The river was the {K-Spades}, and Colman fired 90,000. Bellande quickly called.

Colman tabled the {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for top set of kings, but his hand was no good against Bellande's {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a king-high straight.

Steven Doubles Through Altergott

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A series of raises between Brandon Steven in early position and Max Altergott in the hijack led to Steven all in for 133,500.

Steven: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Altergott: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades}, giving both players a set. The {K-Spades} turn kept Steven ahead and the {6-Spades} river locked up the pot for him with the nut flush.

Trickett Believes Lichtenberger Just Has It

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

From the hijack seat, Sam Trickett raised to 8,000. Andrew Lichtenberger reraised to 28,500 from the small blind, and Trickett called to see the flop come {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Lichtenberger led for 33,000, and Trickett called.

The {8-Hearts} landed on the turn, and Lichtenberger kept his foot on the gas with a bet of 78,000. Trickett called, and the river was the {8-Diamonds} to pair the board. Lichtenberger took his time, then fired a big 192,000. This bet sent Trickett into the tank.

Just before the first minute passed by, Trickett tossed in one of his time extension plaques. He thought for a bit more, and then tossed in another time extension plaque.

After a bit more thought, Trickett muttered, "So sick, I just know you have it. I just know you have it."

With about five seconds left approaching the third minute of thought, Trickett folded his hand, and Lichtenberger won the pot.
