Rogers tabled his hand, not knowing that Sandberg had a chip behind. The hand was briefly face up, and it was announced on the commentary microphone that Rogers had tens. The hand was visible for about five seconds.
On the 10♦4♥4♣ flop, Rogers bet the last chip. Sandberg, thinking that his opponent had tens-full, contemplated folding the 100,000 despite the pot being 23,200,000. However he eventually tossed in the final chip.
