Ronnie Bardah moved all in for 3,200,000 from middle position and Brandon Conrad looked him up from the hijack.

Conrad was in good shape with the dominating king as the 8♦4♠4♥ flop brought some chop opportunities. However, the board would run out A♠6♦, leaving Conrad's king-queen best as his kicker played, as Bardah's run was cut short in ninth place.
John Phan jammed for an even 2,000,000 from the button and John Riordan snapped it off in the big blind.

Phan ran into a monster but held an overcard as the J♦5♣2♦ flop gave him more outs. However, the board would run out J♥3♣, leaving the queens best as Phan wished his opponents farewell as the first casualty of the final table.

Sergio Segura limped in early position before Ronnie Bardah jammed for 2,700,000 from the hijack. On the button, John Phan rejammed for 5,200,000, and Segura folded AxQx after a short tank.

Bardah needed some help to stay alive against the dominated pair of Phan. The A♦3♦2♥ flop gave Bardah a gutshot and backdoor flush draw. The 9♦ turn gave Phan a set of nines, but Bardah picked up the flush draw.
In dramatic fashion, the 8♦ peeled off on the river, completing the flush for Bardah who jumped up from his seat in celebration after a miracle survival.
On the first hand, Evan Sandberg opened to 1,200,000 under the gun before Hill Kerby three-bet to 7,200,000 from the small blind, committing his stack, and Sandberg folded.
A couple hands later, John Phan opened to 1,300,000 under the gun before Brandon Conrad clicked it to 2,600,000 on his left. Phan would weigh his options for nearly two minutes before he folded 10♦10♣ face up.
