Andrea Volpi opened to 6,000 from early position, and was faced with a three-bet jam by Dario Pieruzzini to 34,000 from the cutoff. After asking for a count, Volpi made the quick call.

As the cards were turned over Pieruzzini smiled at his opponent, and wagged his finger, as if to say 'you aren't holding'. Volpi had a good chuckle.
The 9♥5♥4♠ flop was clear for Volpi, as was the 5♦ turn, however the A♦ rolled off on the river to give Pieruzzini a pair of aces and prove him right.
Both players laughed as the river hit, Pieruzzini saying "I told you", as he raked in the pot.
