Around 1,300,000 was in the middle in a hand between Giuseppe Zarbo in middle position. Antonio Iannei on the button and Priamo Carta in the small blind.

On the 6♣7♠6♥ flop, action was checked to Zarbo slid out a bet of 400,000. Iannei check-jammed to 1,100,000, Priamo folded and Zarbo made the quick call.

Traian Stanciu opened to 300,000 from early position and was called by Kym Nguyen in the cutoff.

Short-stacked Vladas Burneikis then produced a three-bet jam for 600,000, with both of his opponents calling.

With betting on the side, the flop came J♠9♠8♠, and Stanciu check-called a bet of 400,000 from Nguyen.

The 6♠ river and Q♥ turn were checked through by both players.

Stanciu revealed Q♦10♣ for the queen-high straight, but it was no good as Burneikis had K♦10♠ for the one-card flush, which was also good against Nguyen's A♥8♥ for a pair of eights.

A great start for Burneikis to the final table as he secures a much needed triple up.

In the previous hand Mohamed Mamouni had doubled-up Giuseppe Zarbo when all the money went in on a K♦3♥9♥ flop, with both players holding a flush draw, Zarbo with A♥5♥ and Mamouni with Q♥J♥.

The 6♠ turn was a brick but the 4♥ river gave Zarbo the nut flush and the double-up.

That left Mamouni with only around 450,000 and he was all-in the next hand against Erico Iervasi.

On the 8♦9♥6♥ flop, Belatik check-jammed for 1,400,000 versus a bet of 250,000 from Lepore. Lepore made the snap call, slightly covering his opponent.

Belatik was in trouble with second pair versus Lepore's overpair kings, but much to his opponent's disgust, the 8♥ rolled off on the turn to give Belatik trip eights and the 7♠ river confirmed his double-up.

Lepore was fuming and told Belatik his play was "so bad", and asked PokerNews to "make sure that's in the blog". Belatik responded saying "Yes, make sure you say he's a bad guy too".

Lepore was left with 250,000 and was in the big blind next, so only had 50,000 behind, and the chatter between the two continued.

Action was folded to Belatik in the small blind who raised to put Lepore all-in, with talk still going on, with Belatik going for the rubdown by asking Lepore how much he had left. Lepore, still raging, called.
