Antonio Iannei Eliminated in 9th Place (€11,600)

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Antonio Iannei
Antonio Iannei

Around 1,300,000 was in the middle in a hand between Giuseppe Zarbo in middle position. Antonio Iannei on the button and Priamo Carta in the small blind.

On the 676 flop, action was checked to Zarbo slid out a bet of 400,000. Iannei check-jammed to 1,100,000, Priamo folded and Zarbo made the quick call.

Antonio Iannei: 22 All in
Giuseppe Zarbo: KQ

Iannei was ahead but had outs to dodge, and the K rolled off on the turn to give Zarbo a pair of kings, the 3 completing the board and sending Iannei to the rail as the first player to depart the final table.

Triple Up for Burneikis

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Traian Stanciu opened to 300,000 from early position and was called by Kym Nguyen in the cutoff.

Short-stacked Vladas Burneikis then produced a three-bet jam for 600,000, with both of his opponents calling.

With betting on the side, the flop came J98, and Stanciu check-called a bet of 400,000 from Nguyen.

The 6 river and Q turn were checked through by both players.

Stanciu revealed Q10 for the queen-high straight, but it was no good as Burneikis had K10 for the one-card flush, which was also good against Nguyen's A8 for a pair of eights.

A great start for Burneikis to the final table as he secures a much needed triple up.

Anas Belatik Eliminated in 10th Place (€11,600)

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Anas Belatik
Anas Belatik

Priamo Carta opened to 300,00 from the cutoff and was faced with a three-bet jam by Anas Belatik to 2,100,000. Carta made the snap-call to put Belatik at risk.

Anas Belatik: 44 All in
Priamo Carta: KK

Belatik had been unfortunate to run his pocket fours straight into Carta's kings, and no unlikely escape was provided by the 9578A runout.

With Belatik's elimination there will now be a short break for the final table redraw. It has been confirmed play will stop today once eight players remain.

Mohamed Mamouni Eliminated in 11th Place (€9,900)

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Mohamed Mamouni
Mohamed Mamouni

In the previous hand Mohamed Mamouni had doubled-up Giuseppe Zarbo when all the money went in on a K39 flop, with both players holding a flush draw, Zarbo with A5 and Mamouni with QJ.

The 6 turn was a brick but the 4 river gave Zarbo the nut flush and the double-up.

That left Mamouni with only around 450,000 and he was all-in the next hand against Erico Iervasi.

Mohamed Mamouni: 97 All in
Erico Iervasi: 44

Mamouni needed to hit the board but he whiffed completely on J52KA, Iervasi's pair of fours good enough to send him to the rail.

Gabriele Lepore Eliminated in 12th Place (€9,900)

Level 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Gabriele Lepore
Gabriele Lepore

Gabriel Lepore opened to 200,00 under the gun and Anas Belatik defended his big blind.

On the 896 flop, Belatik check-jammed for 1,400,000 versus a bet of 250,000 from Lepore. Lepore made the snap call, slightly covering his opponent.

Anas Belatik: A8 All in
Gabriele Lepore: KK

Belatik was in trouble with second pair versus Lepore's overpair kings, but much to his opponent's disgust, the 8 rolled off on the turn to give Belatik trip eights and the 7 river confirmed his double-up.

Lepore was fuming and told Belatik his play was "so bad", and asked PokerNews to "make sure that's in the blog". Belatik responded saying "Yes, make sure you say he's a bad guy too".

Lepore was left with 250,000 and was in the big blind next, so only had 50,000 behind, and the chatter between the two continued.

Action was folded to Belatik in the small blind who raised to put Lepore all-in, with talk still going on, with Belatik going for the rubdown by asking Lepore how much he had left. Lepore, still raging, called.

Gabriele Lepore: J7 All in
Anas Belatik: 76

Lepore again had his opponent dominated, but his mood was not improved by the 4836Q runout, Belatik turning a pair of sixes to send Lepore to the rail.

Ostrowski Doubles via Berlin

Level 25 : Blinds 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante

Devid Berlin opened to 175,000 from the cutoff, and was faced with a three-bet jam by Dominik Ostrowski in the big blind to 1,025,000. Berlin made the quick call.

Dominik Ostrowski: KQ All in
Devid Berlin: 99

Berlin was ahead in a race, and the 103J flop was an action one, Ostrowski flopping an up and down straight draw to give him extra outs as well as his overcards.

To Berlin's disgust, the 9 rolled off on the turn to give Ostrowski the king-high straight, and the 2 river did not pair the board as Berlin required, sending Ostrowski a timely double-up.
