Spoerri Takes Three-Bet Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Christoph Spoerri
Christoph Spoerri

Wladimir Schlosser opened to 300 from early position and was faced with a three-bet to 1,500 from Giuseppe Ditaranto in the next seat.

Christoph Spoerri cold-called in middle position and action was folded back to Schlosser, who folded.

On the 8210 flop Ditaranto continued with a bet of 2,000, which Spoerri called.

On the 9 turn Ditaranto continued with the aggression, firing out a bet of 6,000. Spoerri again called.

The 6 river was checked through by both players. Ditaranto showed AK for ace-high, while Spoerri showed J9 for a pair of nines, which was good enough to take the pot.

Early One For Spoerri

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Wladimir Schlosser opened from the cutoff to 400 and was called by John Five on the button and Christoph Spoerri and Benjamin Gips in the blinds.

The J32A flop and turn were checked through by all four players.

On the 9 river, action was checked to Schlosser who put out a bet of 600, which was called by Christoph Spoerri.

Schlosser declared he had a nine and Spoerri turned over J8 for a pair of jacks, which led to Schlosser mucking his hand.
