Lee Ends a Heater Before Break

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Brian Lee
Brian Lee

On the hand before the break, Brian Lee opened to 125,000 from under the gun and Kenneth Neyerlin defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Neyerlin tapped to Lee who pushed for a total 940,000. The red-hot Neyerlin took his shot at another bounty, calling the jam of Lee and they flipped their cards.

Brian Lee: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Kenneth Neyerlin: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The already scary board added some more sweat for Lee when a {2-Hearts} rolled out, giving Neyerlin a straight draw. It seemed almost impossible for Neyerlin to miss with how hot he has been running but Lee managed to fade, having an {8-Clubs} complete the board for a double.

Neyerlin took his bounty chip from the elimination of Robert Hunt and pulled an envelope, revealing $20,000 which was the biggest prize left in the pool.

Hunt Finds Cowboys but Neyerlin Finds the River

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
ROBERT HUNT
ROBERT HUNT

The action was on a {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop when Kenneth Neyerlin bet 100,000 and Robert Hunt moved all in for a total of just under one million. Neyerlin took his time but ultimately, he called and Hunt was at risk.

Robert Hunt: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Kenneth Neyerlin: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Hunt was in a commanding lead heading into the {2-Clubs} turn and just needed one more brick to double from the leader. Unfortunately for Hunt, the deck slapped Neyerlin with an {a-Clubs} to scoop the pot, eliminating Hunt from the event and Neyerlin extended his lead even further.

Neyerlin Extends Lead, Weis Falls to the Wayside

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Felix Weis
Felix Weis

Felix Weis had his 425,000 in the middle and Kenneth Neyerlin called, putting Weis at risk as they turned over their hands.

Felix Weis: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Kenneth Neyerlin: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

"You're going to love this," said Neyerlin as he turned over his hand, but Weis did not look thrilled to see the paint that he was against.

The dealer fanned out an exciting {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} that hit Weis with a nine but Neyerlin added more outs. One of his outs landed on the turn, improving him to a pair of queens when the {q-Clubs} fell.

A {7-Diamonds} river cemented it for Neyerlin and Weis was sent to the payout desk.

DANIEL ALLEN
DANIEL ALLEN

Daniel Allen opened to 30,000 from under the gun and William Lahti defended his big blind to see the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. Lahti tapped the table and Allen bet out around 40,000.

JASON GOOCH
JASON GOOCH

John Driver pushed his 75,000 stack into the middle and Ian Vertefuille followed suit, calling his 52,000. "That's not much at all," said Jason Gooch from the big blind as he called to put two players at risk.

Ian Vertefuille: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
John Driver: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Jason Gooch: {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}

A one-man chant of "Ten! Ten! Ten!" came from Gooch and the dealer then spread {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} put on the felt. Gooch continued his song right up until the {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} runout had completed the board.

Gooch stacked up the chips and added two bounties to his stack thanks to a flopped pair of tens.
