Weiqiang Shan opened the action with a raise to 35,000 and the action then reached Xuanzhi Zhao from two seats over. He opted for a reraise to 80,000 in the cutoff and when it was back on Shan, he tried to glance at Zhao's stack.
"Cover, cover," Zhao replied and Shan folded a couple of seconds later.
Qiheng Liu raised to 40,000 and Martin Sedlak pushed all-in once more. It folded back to Liu, who immediately asked "how much?" The shove was deemed to be for 261,000 and Liu called with the covering stack to put the only non-Chinese contender still in the mix at risk.

The 9♦6♣4♠ flop and 4♦ turn changed nothing, but Sedlak spiked the A♠ on the river to double while Liu leaped out of his chair and turned around in agony.
Xuanzhi Zhao raised to 36,000 and was called only by Jing Sun in the big blind. They saw a flop of A♣K♦3♥ on which Sun checked, Zhao repeated his wager of 36,000 and forced a fold.
Jing Sun then raised to 32,000 and Martin Sedlak pushed all-in from the button with the covering stack to force her out.

The final eight players are on the next 15-minute break, during which some of the chips will be coloured up. Whether or not there will be another break today remains to be seen given how shallow the action is now.
In the last hand of the level, Qiheng Liu limped from under the gun and Qun Dang did so from the cutoff, Weichen Wang checked in the big blind.
On the K♣10♠4♥ flop, it checked to Dang and he bet 15,000. Only Liu called and checked again the Q♦ on the turn. Dang now pushed all-in and Liu beat him into the pot.

Dang could all but smirk as he was drawing dead with his low pocket pair ahead of the 2♥ river before the remaining players went into the break.
Xuanzhi Zhao raised to 25,000 from an early position and was called only by Qun Dang in the big blind. The flop came K♣9♠7♥ and Dang checked. Zhao made it 30,000 to go and that won the pot without any further resistance.
