Pang Eliminated by Zhao

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Xuanzhi Zhao had previously gotten a shove through with a very short stack and Supeng Pang then jammed even fewer chips into his big blind for Zhao to call.

Supeng Pang: A9 All in
Xuanzhi Zhao: 74

The QQJ64 board paired up Zhao on the river and the last 19,000 of Pang vanished to the other side of the table.

Song Doubles Through Liu

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Yunkyu Song called all-in for 41,000 from the big blind with A6 when Qiheng Liu pushed with the A3.

The 6432J board paired up both players for Song to survive.

Wang Doubles Through Song

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Zida Chen raised to 12,000 and then saw Yunkyu Song and Weichen Wang move all-in behind, both putting up their jackets once more.

"What the fuck is happening?" Chen grimaced and then folded when he was covered by Song's three-bet shove to expose ace-jack.

"That is bad for me," Song said as he flashed the A4. Wang was way out in front with the KK and the Q8777 board kept things that way for Wang to get his revenge on Song for the second time in quick succession.

Two Eliminations for Dang

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Stephen Song was all-in with the A10 and up against Qun Dang, who held the inferior Q10. The Q86K9 runout improved Dang and the stacks were counted. Dang's 62,000 covered by a small margin.

And their table broke soon after when Kaihua Liu shoved his short stack with Q9 into Dang's A6. The 1082K7 board kept ace-high in the lead to bring the Day 1a field down to the last two tables.

Sun Doubles Through Liu

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Rui Sun was all-in after the 9427 turn and Kaihua Liu called with the covering stack in the next seat. It was a very close race with Liu in a marginal lead holding the K9 for top pair. Sun, however, had many outs holding the 86 for the open-ended straight draw.

One of the outs came with the 10 river which completed the straight and the flush.

Xu Takes From Zhao

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Just before the blinds moved up, Yuan Xu and Xuanzhi Zhao headed to the 972 flop. Zhao led for 7,000 from the small blind and Xu with the bigger stack raised small to 15,000 and Zhao reluctantly folded.

Another Zhao, Jiaqi Zhao, has chipped up on the same table and nearly has the same stack as Xu now.

Song and Wang Trade Double Ups

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Yunkyu Song and Weichen Wang got their chips into the middle in back-to-back hands with both vaulting out of their chair and putting the jacket on.

Song's first all-in was for 74,000 and he was at risk in a flip with 66 versus AJ out of the big blind. The QQ356 board gave him sixes full for the double.

Song then jammed out of the small blind and Wang called all-in from the big blind for 34,000.

Weichen Wang: 109 All in
Yunkyu Song: 87

The J106K7 runout gave both players a pair and Wang doubled back, albeit for a lot fewer chips.
