Rui Sun raised to 5,500 and then pushed all-in over the top of a three-bet by Bin Wang, who called with the covering stack.

Both players held pocket pairs and Sun remained ahead all the way on the 7♦7♥5♦A♠K♠ runout to leave his opponent on the shorter side.
In the meanwhile, Qun Liang was unable to run up his short stack and bowed out on a different table.
Haohui Ma pushed all-in from the button with the K♣7♣ and was called by Yu Liu in the big blind, who had the same suit and superior A♣5♣. The J♥4♦3♠3♠5♦ board missed both players and the ace was good enough for the knockout.
Gary Thompson was all-in for only a handful of big blinds with the J♠9♠ and was up against the table big stack Qiheng Liu, who revealed the 7♦6♦. He was also covered by Jing Sun who revealed the A♥10♠ and the board came A♠Q♦8♣6♥5♠ for Sun to nearly triple up.
Xuanzhi Zhao had dropped to just over the starting stack and was all-in for just over 32,000 with the K♠K♣. He was up against Qun Liang with the A♥Q♦ and the kings held on a board of J♠8♦3♠6♦2♥ to stay in contention.

Waiqiang Shan was all-in for only 13,800 with the A♥2♥ and up against Martin Sedlak, who had a monster in K♣K♥.
"Three times in a row with kings is impossible to win," Sedlak joked and his prediction was right on the A♠8♦8♣8♠A♣ runout.
Former big stack Yunkyu Song faced an open raise to 4,000 by Gary Thompson and a call by current chip leader Qiheng Liu out of the cutoff. He pushed all-in for 38,600 on the button and Thompson folded, while Song was on his feet already. Liu was still waiting for the exact count and then folded.
In the meanwhile, the field has dropped to only 29 hopefuls.
Within a few minutes, the field suddenly plummeted to only 32 contenders and yet another table broke.
