On a heads-up turn of K♦10♠3♦J♥, Qiao Heng as one of the latest re-entries on Day 1a got it in with K♥10♥ for flopped kings and tens. He was up against Yuan Xu with the K♠J♣ for turned kings and jacks, now suddenly needing a ten to survive.
The river was the A♦ and that spelled the end for Heng, who may jump into Day 1b which just kicked off a few minutes ago.
Changdong Ren in the small blind clashed with Xuanzhi Zhao in middle position and the latter was the player at risk but ahead preflop.

Ren took the lead with the Q♦J♣2♠ flop and retained it on the A♥ turn. Zhao needed a ten or king and caught the latter with the K♠ river to double for 33,200.
Yunpeng Jiang got his stack in preflop with the 10♦10♥ only to find himself dominated by Martin Sedlak in the next seat with the Q♣Q♥.
The A♣9♣6♦9♥5♥ board changed nothing and Sedlak earned the next knockout to move up to an even healthier stack.
With level ten now underway, an unofficial 69 entries have emerged with some 40 players remaining. Only four of them will advance as the top 5% of the Day 1a field are set to reach the money.
Yuan Xu raised to 2,400 in the last hand before the blinds moved up and he then instantly called the preflop shove by Xiotong Li, the latter of who revealed A♠6♠ in showdown. Xu was ahead with the A♥K♦ and held despite many black cards on the 4♦4♣2♣4♠7♠ runout.

The dominated pair found no help on the Q♠8♦2♠3♦A♣ runout and yet another player busted very close to the end of the late registration period.
Martin Sedlak bet the 10♦9♠5♠3♥ turn for 4,500 in the big blind and Haohui Ma called from an early position. They both checked the J♥ on the river and the K♣9♣ for a pair of nines by Sedlak won the pot.
In a duel small blind versus cutoff, the turn showed 8♥5♣2♥A♥ and that's when the chips went into the middle between Yunpeng Jiang and Shaojie Yang.

Jiang had turned two pair with the ace-five suited but was up against a flopped set. No ace came on the river, which was the 7♣, and both stacks were counted. Yang's 24,000 covered to reduce the field by one. The open seat was filled with Lei Yu shortly thereafter.
