Another Double for Liu

Level 30 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Yang Liu moved all in for 230,000 in early position and was called by Stephen Song in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were face up on the felt.

Yang Liu: A6All in
Stephen Song: AJ

Despite being a big underdog preflop, Liu managed to spike a six on the 643 flop to take the lead. The 9 and K runout were no help to Song who was forced to pass over another double up, this one being for double up the price.

Zhu Takes the Cautious Approach

Level 30 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Fangzhou Zhu raised to 60,000 in the hijack with AK and William Jia called from the big blind with an inferior KQ. The flop of Q73 gave Jia the lead with a pair of queens but he just check-called a bet of 40,000 from Zhu.

The A on the turn flipped things around with Zhu taking over the lead. Both players decided to knuckle the table and the 4 completed the board. Jia led out with a bet of 55,000 and Zhu just called and revealed the winner.

Zeng Earns Another Double

Level 30 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Xuecong Wu raised to 60,000 and Jin Zeng then pushed all-in for 280,000 in the big blind.

Wu asked for a count and then mentioned twice "cover, cover?!" to the surprise of other players at the table before he confirmed twice to make the call.

Jin Zeng: KQ
Xuecong Wu: 99

Nothing changed with the A55 flop but the K turn vaulted Zeng into the lead. He jumped out of his seat with a loud "yesssss, nice nice" prior to the J river which confirmed his double.

Jia Surpasses Song in Another Clash

Level 30 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Stephen Song raised to 60,000 with AK from under the gun and William Jia just called in middle position with 99. The rest of the table folded and the dealer fanned the flop of 764.

Song started with a check and Jia followed with a check of his own. The 8 landed on the turn and Song checked again. Jia continued to play along by checking it down to the 3 on the river.

Song finally stuck in a bet of 115,000 and Jia quickly called with the only pair to rake in another pot, taking over the top spot from Song.

Level 30 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Boxin Jin raised to 65,000 from the small blind and Weizheng Zhong called from the big blind.

Both players checked on the K76 flop and 10 turn, but Jin wagered 55,000 after the Q completed the board.

Zhong paused and then announced a raise to 135,000, which got a fold from Jin to send the pot Zhong's way.

Liu Doubles, Remains Short

Level 30 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Stephen Song raised to 60,000 in middle position and Yang Liu shoved all in blind for his last 100,000 from the big blind. Song quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Yang Liu: A8All in
Stephen Song: J9

The flop came 854 to give Liu top pair but Song still had two over cards. The 2 on the turn changed nothing and the 10 on the river just missed Song who flicked over a single chip to match Liu's stack.

Zheng Doubles up With an Ace on the River

Level 29 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Zhanhui Zheng
Zhanhui Zheng

Jiaming Zhao opened to 50,000 from early position and Zhanhui Zheng three-bet to 340,000 on the button — leaving himself a single t-5,000 chip behind. Zhao called.

The flop came K510 and Zhao put Zheng all in. Zheng committed his last chip into the middle and hands were revealed.

Zhanhui Zheng: AQAll in
Jiaming Zhao: JJ

"Hold, baby!" Zhao shouted upon seeing Zheng's hand.

The 5 turn was safe, which got another, "Hold!" from Zhao.

It was Zheng's lucky day, however, as the A river left him best with a pair of aces while Zhao could only groan at the result.
