Buckman Outdraws Romer

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Bill Romer pushed all in from the big blind on a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} for about 25,000. Robert Buckman declared that he had to call before doing so.

Buckman: {3-Spades}{2-Spades}
Romer: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Buckman had flopped a combo draw, and the {2-Diamonds} gave him yet another out if he could make deuces full. A {4-Clubs} filled his gutshot straight draw, and Romer could only shake his head as his stack was pushed to Buckman.

Blumenthal Doubles

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Eddie Blumenthal opened for 1,650 under the gun, and only the blinds called. They checked to Blumenthal on the {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, and he bet 2,175. The small blind raised to 6,050, the big blind folded, and Blumenthal took his time before calling. On the {4-Hearts} turn, the small blind put Blumenthal all in for about 8,000, and he called it off.

Blumenthal: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Small blind: {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Blumenthal had his opponent stone dead, and a {7-Clubs} completed the board for his double.

Ahlers Ships the Turn

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Bill Romer checked, and James Ahlers bet 3,000 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. A player in middle position called, as did Romer. A {3-Hearts} prompted another check from Romer, and Ahlers snap-shoved. Both of his opponents folded, and Ahlers shoved {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for top two. He has one of the larger stacks in the room.

Jason Sell lost the majority of his stack.

Jason Sell bet 6,400 into a 16,000 pot with the board reading {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, and [Removed:67] called from the cutoff. A {3-Diamonds} completed the board, and Sell put Swetow all in, resulting in a snap-call.

"If you have ace-king, you've got me," Swetow said, flipping {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a boat. Sell mucked his cards, and he's now below the starting stack.

Kim Takes Three-Way All In

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante
