Woelfel Frustrates Sandness

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

In a pot that he three-bet preflop, Wade Woelfel bet 8,700 from the big blind on a {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop. Former Mid-States Poker Tour champ Mark Sandness called, seeing a {3-Hearts} turn. Woelfel checked, and Sandness bet 12,000. Woelfel called, and the {a-Hearts} prompted him to shove all in on the river. Sandness slammed down on his chips, causing a few to fall to the felt, and he mucked his hand.

We got to the table with the flop of {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} with 14,000 in the middle. John Morgan bet out 6,500 from under the gun and a player from middle position called. The turn brought the {8-Hearts} which caused Morgan to bet 7,000. His opponent called once again.

The {3-Clubs} fell on the river. Morgan charged out again with 7,000 which caused his combatant to fold. Morgan dragged in a pot of about 41,000.

Woelfel Wins Huge Flip with Revniaga

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Vlad Revniaga opened for 2,500 on the button and the small blind called. Wade Woelfel made it 8,400 in the big blind, and Revniaga came back with 20,500, folding out the small blind. Woelfel shoved, and Revniaga quickly called off for about 50,000.

Revniaga: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Woelfel: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, safe for Revniaga. Woelfel got the {k-Hearts} he needed on the turn though, and no jack showed up on the river.

We got to the table with the board reading {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} with 33,000 in the pot. Jeremy Dresch, who has more than $500,000 in career earnings, shoved for 45,800 from the button. The small blind contemplated for a few minutes before a clock got called on him. Johnson Knocks Out Mandt

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We got the table with the board reading {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds} with about 11,000 in the pot. In the big blind David Mandt led out for 4,000 and Andy Hamm called from under the gun. Sam Johnson then shoved from the button and Mandt called off the rest of his chips - about 18,000.

Hamm got out of the way and Johnson showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} for a set which topped Mandt's set of fives. The river brought the {J-Diamonds} which eliminated Mandt and earned Johnson a pot worth more than 35,000.

Just before break, Caleb Horkey made it 1,500 and Judd Greenagel called from the hijack, as did the big blind. The flop brought {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The player from the big blind checked while Horkey made it 2,050. Greenagel made the call and the big blind got out of the way. The {8-Spades} plopped down on the turn and Horkey bet out 5,375. Greenagel didn't budge and called. The river brought the {5-Spades} and Horkey moved in. After a long tanking session, Greenagel made the hero call with {a-}{10-} to double through to about 30,000, with his opponent mucking his hand.
