Jablonski Calls Off, Busts

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante
Stan Jablonski
Stan Jablonski

Nick Pupillo bet enough to put Stan Jablonski all in when the latter checked to him on a {5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board. Jablonski, who had about 9,000 left, stacked his chips and pushed them in asking if Pupillo had aces.

He did: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, and that was a winner.

Jablonski is using his final allotted entry.

Robert Gray
Robert Gray

Robert Gray started off hot with a big win in a three-way all in, but it was downhill from there and he just busted out when he ran his {k-}{k-} into the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} of Owen Seivright.

Gutfreund Avoids the Trap

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Cynthia Albert opened for 1,300 in the hijack, and David Gutfreund made it 3,600 in the cutoff. His opponent called, and Gutfreund checked back the {7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop and the {8-Clubs} turn. Albert out with 3,500 on the {k-Hearts} river, and Gutfreund quickly called. Albert showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped nuts. Gutfreund said he was pleased to have lost as little as he did.

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Michael Truman
Michael Truman

Michael Truman limped under the gun, and action folded to Eddie Bryant, who raised to 1,200 on the button. The small blind jammed for about 5,000, and Truman reshipped, folding out Bryant.

Truman: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Small blind: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Nothing appeared for either player in the community, and Truman's king played.

Kottal Rivers a Set

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Three players saw a {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, but one of them was already all in for about 7,000. Matthew Kottal checked from the blinds, and his opponent did likewise until the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} finished out the board. Kottal bet 10,000 on the end and got a quick fold, showing {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. His opponent had fives and was eliminated.

Truman Gets Extra 2K

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Michael Truman fired 6,000 on a {9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} board from the small blind.

"I can't fold it," his opponent said with a sigh, tossing out a call.

Truman showed {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for trips. His opponent mucked the fourth jack face-up.

"I was gonna bet like 4,000," the player said. "You got an extra two."

Adams Knows Where He's At

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

A player in the hijack checked a {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, and Lenard Adams bet 6,000 from the button. The hijack tanked awhile and called, and both quickly checked a {4-Diamonds} turn. The {9-Hearts} hit the river, and the hijack checked. Adams bet 7,000, and his opponent tossed in a call.

"Queens," someone said, pointing at Adams.

It was {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} though, a rivered top pair and the best hand as his opponent mucked.

"I knew exactly where I was at," Adams said. "I knew he would pay me."
