Blake Bohn Starting Off Strong

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a board reading {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, Tim McReynolds checked, Blake Bohn tossed out a pink chip for a bet of 5,000, and McReynolds called.

Bohn showed {8-Clubs}{3-} and said to McReynolds, "Glad we got that out of the way."

Early Notables

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On an initial pass through of the tournament floor, we spotted several familiar faces seated among the early runners. Mid-States Poker Tour Pros Blake Bohn, Nick Pupillo, and Matt Alexander are among the early registrants. As are tour regulars Shane Nelson, Ken Rosheisen, Mario Hudson, and Mike Holm. Joshua Reichard, former Ho Chunk Champion has just been seated as well.

One of the more stacked tables in the room appears to be table 16, housing MSPT Pro Matt Kirby, Angelina Rich, the first ever female MSPT Champion having won the largest ever MSPT tournament at the Venetian in Las Vegas, as well as former MSPT Meskwaki Main Event Champion Terry Ring.
