Kuretsky's Flush is Better; Doubles Through Bullen

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Randy Bullen opened under the gun for 2,500 and was called by Peter Kuretsky from middle position along with the button player.

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop was checked to the {2-Diamonds} turn where Bullen lead out for 4,500 and was called by Kuretsky while the button player folded.

The dealer completed the board with the {3-Spades} river and Bullen tossed out 9,500 which was raised to 24,000 by Kuretsky. Bullen jammed and Kuretsky called for less.

Randy Bullen: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Peter Kuretsky: {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Both players turned the flush but Kuretsky's held the nuts and received a 25,500 double-up from Bullen.

Back-to-Back Aces for Blechinger

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Barb Blechinger
Barb Blechinger

Barb Blechinger just sent two-time Minnesota Magazine Player of the Year Saad Ghanem to the rail.

In the hand before it happened, Blechinger three-bet holding pocket aces against Wisconsin's Craig Trost, who called only to fold to a continuation-bet on the flop. Blechinger showed her aces to the table.

It was then that Ghanem got his stack all in holding pocket jacks only to see Blechinger wake up with aces yet again.

The pocket rockets held, Blechinger pulled in her second pot, and Ghanem headed for the exit.
