Pelz Holds With Top Two

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, a player in the small blind bet out 2,500 only to have Ian Pelz shove from early position. His opponent had about 14,000 back and she opted to call it off with {8-Hearts}{5-Spades} for top pair and a straight draw. Pelz had {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for top two.

The {3-Hearts} turn gave Pelz more cards to sweat but the {a-Spades} was safe.

Levin's Second Bet Gets Through

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Two players checked to Josh Levin in the hijack on {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and he bet 3,800. Only the big blind called. That player, however, check-folded to a bet of 8,500 on the {4-Clubs} turn.

Medina Holds

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A short-stacked player in the big blind who defended his blind shoved all in on a {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. George Medina set him at risk from the cutoff with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and was up against {j-}{10-} for a draw. The {8-Diamonds} and {7-Spades} didn't complete that draw, and the busted player knuckled the table and sent his 10,000 or so over to Medina.
