Deis Sends One to the Rail

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante
Mike Deis
Mike Deis

With 8,000 already in the pot, three players saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The player in the small blind led out for 2,000 and Mike Deis raised it up to 6,000 from the big blind. The player in the hijack folded and the small blind moved all in for 13,500. It didn't take long for Deis to make the call and the players turned their cards over.

Mike Deis: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {6-Spades}{7-Spades}

Deis was well in front and happy to see the {k-Hearts} turn card give his opponent no additional outs. The {3-Clubs} river card completed the board and Deis now sits with 50,000 chips.

The Ultimate Cooler Send Lehner to the Rail

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante
Matt Brenner
Matt Brenner

"That's why I hate poker," Mike Lehner said just before departing the tournament area.

His angst was understandable given his bust out, which came after he got his stack of approximately 20,000 all in preflop against Matt Brenner.

Matt Brenner: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Mike Lehner: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was a cooler and unfortunately for Lehner he was on the wrong end of it. He could still win with either a king or some other lucky runout, but it wasn't meant to be as the board instead ran out a dry {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

On a board reading {k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} Armando Rivera was in the hijack and faced a bet of 4,500 into a pot of 9,000 from his opponent in the small blind. Rivera moved all in for 20,600 which sent his opponent into the tank for several minutes.

His opponent called and Rivera showed him the bad news.

Armando Rivera: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Rivera's full house was good and he now sits with 50,000 chips.

Barill Adds to His Big Stack

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Alex Barill

Action folded around to Alex Barill in the cutoff who raised 1,000. The player on the button three-bet to 3,200 and Barill called.

Both players checked on the flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Barill led for 4,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn card and quickly got called.

The {10-Clubs} river completed the board and Barill tossed out just 2,000 which his opponent called.

Barill showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for two pair which was good enough to collect the pot.
