Overflow Area Overflowing

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The upstairs overflow area is completely full in addition to a packed house inside the Poker Parlour and there are at least 10 people waiting for seats to open with the tournament clock reading 205 entries.

This morning's satellite also is in the process of finishing with another 16 seats being awarded as two tables look to open shortly to accommodate for alternates.

In the meantime, a few familiar faces were spotted upstairs with Patrick Suzuki having chipped up to 94,000 after an early heater to start the day.

Sergio Sanchez got his last 12,000 in preflop against Jay Jesse, who was in early position.

Sergio Sanchez: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Jay Jesse: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Sanchez found his big hand up against an even bigger one and was drawing dead by the turn as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, bringing Jesse up to two-and-a-half stacks nearing the end of Level 3.

Lopez Gets a Nice Increase

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Two players limped in and Jay Jesse raised to 1,300 from middle position. The hijack and cutoff called to put action onto Jose Lopez, who went all in on the button for about 13,000.

All players folded and Lopez took down the pot without a showdown.

"Boring," said one player at the table with a chuckle as the pot was sent Lopez's way.

Jensen Shows the Goods

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Steven Jensen raised it up to 900 under the gun and received calls from players in early position, the hijack, and the small blind.

The four players saw the flop come {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and the small blind checked. Jensen made a continuation-bet of 1,500 and all three players folded. The dealer collected all the cards and shipped him the pot as he sat there holding his cards. He peaked back at them for a quick second and then decided to share the goods with everybody else, tabling {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for flopped trips to earn him the pot.

The dealer was in the process of pulling 500 into the middle each from Bob Sweeney in the big blind, Robert Millot in early position, and Stuart Osborn in the hijack on a flop reading {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

The turn came {10-Clubs} and Sweeney checked over to Millot, who made a bet of 1,000. Both Osborn and Sweeney folded and Millot took down the pot.
