2020 Mid-States Poker Tour Grand Falls
Level: 9
Blinds: 600/1,200

We happened upon the table with a player in the tank and 6,400 out in front of him. He was contemplating what to do as Cody Brinn was all in for 16,300. The two chatted a bit, and while the player didn't seem too excited about it, they made the call nonetheless.

Did you know the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) publishes its own monthly magazine? Well, right now it's on hiatus due to the pandemic, but past issues are still available online to read for free!
Print copies are usually distributed to host venues across the country, while anyone from around the world can read it digitally.
The magazine highlights everything from the players who make the tour so great, to things to do at each stop. You can also get caught up on MSPT leaderboards and read about upcoming stops. You can also check out various strategy and profile articles.
The next time you're sitting at the table in need of something to read, check out MSPT Magazine.
A player raised to 1,600 from early position and Max Young, who in 2018 won the MSPT Golden Gates for $97,810, defended his big blind to see a ![]()

flop.
Young checked, the original raiser continued for 1,500, and Young woke up with a check-raise to 4,500.
The original raiser opted to call and then watched Young fire out 7,500 on the
turn. That did the trick as Young's opponent released.
Brian Wiepert got his last 6,400 all in preflop and found himself in need of some improvement.
