Welcome back for Day 2 of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Venetian $1,100 Main Event.

There were three starting flights that pulled together a staggering 1,741 total entries, which was enough to blast by the $1,000,000 guarantee.

A total of 199 players found a bag during the last three days and those lucky enough to do so will be returning for Day 2 action today at 11 a.m. local time.

Starting the day with the overall chip lead is Boris Kolev who bagged large in Day 1c.

Many other familiar faces will be battling it out for a shot at the six-figure top prize which include Andrew Moreno (369,00), Taylor Howard (345,000), Ken Baime (330,000), Michael Mizrachi (297,000), Ryan Dodd (260,500), Alex Ziskin (257,000), Chad Holloway (215,000), Brett Apter (198,000), MSPT Hall of Famer Kou Vang (134,000), Ebony Kenney (93,000), Kami Hudson (78,000) and JDavid Brookshire (56,000).

There will be 199 players returning for Day 2 action and only 189 spots will be grabbing a piece of the prize pool. Starting the day fairly close to the money might make for some conservative play, but judging by the first three flights the tournament should retain the action-filled play that has been up to this point.

A min-cash will be paying $2,184, but all eyes will be on the $260,008 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with an MSPT title.
