Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Steven Sarmiento
Steven Sarmiento

A player from early position opened with a raise and Jeff Heiberg three-bet from late position. Action was on Steven Sarmiento who four-bet jammed for 25,000 from the cutoff and action folded back to the initial raiser who isolated.

Steven Sarmiento: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Sarmiento was behind holding two overs and luckily paired one on the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The {q-Diamonds} turn improved Sarmiento to top two-pair and the {k-Hearts} river secured his double-up.

Ginsbach Flops the Goods Against Sailor

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jay Ginsbach limped-in from under the gun and then called the 1,500 raise Brad Sailor made from middle position.

The two players watched a {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop hit the felt and both players checked bringing the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Ginsbach led out for 2,300 and Sailor called to see the {9-Spades} complete the board on the river. Ginsbach check-called Sailor's 6,100 bet and the two hands were revealed.

Sailor rolled over {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the jack-high straight but it was no good as Ginsbach flopped the queen-high straight {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and scooped the pot.

Quraishi Doubles With Big Slick

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Nissar Quraishi
Nissar Quraishi

Nissar Quraishi was all in preflop for 11,000 from under the gun and only the player sitting directly to his left called.

Nissar Quraishi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic race with Quraishi looking to connect with either of his two overs and he did after the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop paired his king.

The {10-Spades} turn gave Quraishi a little sweat as it gave his opponent a Broadway draw but the {6-Diamonds} river completed the board and secured his double-up.
