Skhulukhiia Handed a Cooler by Moret-Rojas

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Giorgii Skhulukhiia
Giorgii Skhulukhiia

Rodney Moret-Rojas raised from middle position and then called Giorgii Skhulukhiia's three-bet jam from the big blind.

Giorgii Skhulukhiia: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Rodney Moret-Rojas: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Skhulukhiia was racing for his tournament and took the lead after the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop gave him trip aces.

The {5-Spades} turn didn't change a thing and just as Skhulukhiia thought he'd be collecting a double-up, the dealer dropped the {7-Clubs} on the river ending his tournament.

The hijack player opened for 3,500 and then called the 10,500 three-bet Alex Foxen put out from the button.

The {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was checked to Foxen who continued for 8,500 and his opponent called to see the {k-Spades} fall on the turn.

Action was checked to Foxen once again who tossed out a bet of 25,500. The bet was uncontested and he won the pot.

Donnie Phan
Donnie Phan

Donnie Phan open-jammed for his last 5,700 from late position and was called by the button player.

Donnie Phan: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Phan was in rough shape until the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop fell giving him a set of fours.

The {5-Diamonds} turn brought possible chop outs if a six were to fall on the river but luckily for Phan, the {3-Hearts} completed the board and secured his double-up.
