Since its inception in 2009, the MSPT has done a great job keeping track of player stats. As a result, 11 years on they have one of the best player databases in the industry.

On their "Leaderboards" page, the MSPT tracks such things as Career Earnings, Main Event Cashes, Main Event Final Tables, Main Event Titles, Total Cashes, Most Cashes/Final Tables in a Season, Most Final Tables All-Time, and much more.

Several players in today's field are looking to climb on the leaderboard for "Most MSPT Main Event Final Tables."

Nguyen Turns Ace to Double Through Opponent

A series of preflop raises saw Ha Nguyen get his 18,400 stack in the middle from the big blind and was called by the player under the gun.

It was a classic race with Nguyen looking to connect with either of his two over cards but neither came on the flop.

"Ace one time," Nguyen asked the dealer as they dropped the on the turn to put him out in front.

Nguyen just needed to fade a jack on the river and did, as the completed the board to secure his double-up.

Baime Cracks Powell's Pocket Kings

Action on the table quickly folded to Reg Powell who raised to 1,800 from the button and Ken Biame called from the small blind as did Peyton Smith from the big blind.

The flop was checked to Baime who continued for 2,600 and only Baime called.

Both the turn and river were checked by both players to showdown.

Powell rolled over for kings and sixes but it was no good as Biame showed to win the pot with aces and sixes.

Fielder Trips Up Opponent for KO

Jeff Fielder raised to 2,000 from the hijack and then called the 7,000 three-bet jam from the button.

Fielder was behind holding two live cards but pulled ahead after the flop paired his king.

The turn gave Fielder's opponent a Broadway draw, but the river improved Fielder to trips and he eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

The flop came and Baim check-called the 1,100 continuation bet from Fielder. The turn was checked by both players, as was the river.

"You can say I got minimum value," stated Baime as he rolled over to win the pot with top two-pair.
