Morfitt Applies Pressure

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

With nearly 20,000 in the pot and {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} on the board, Matt Morfitt checked from early position and a player in the cutoff bet 9,500.

Morfitt raised to 30,000 and his opponent went into the tank. After considering all of the options, his opponent tossed his cards in the muck.

Morfitt is holding steady as the tournament crosses the midway point on Day 1b.
