Lady Luck Bails Out Adsem, Drops Opponent

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was heads-up action after a {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop between Rob Adsem from under the gun and his opponent from late position.

Adsem check-raised to 20,000 after his opponent bet 6,000 only to have them three-bet jam for 33,800.

After being priced in, Adsem cammed and the two players tabled their hands.

Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Rob Adsem: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Adsem was behind holding two overs and {4-Hearts} turn gave his opponent a full house.

Adsem needed some help, and he received it after the dealer dropped the {q-Spades} on the river, giving him a better full house to eliminate his opponent.
