The sky is the limit for Day 1d of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Black Hawk $360 Regional ($150K GTD) and a packed house is expected all afternoon inside Bally's Black Hawk for the final starting flight of the weekend-long event.
Saturday's flight begins at noon local time and presents the last opportunity to play for Sunday's Day 2, where 93 players have already advanced from the first three flight's 651 total entries, and Day 1a chip leader James Rodriguez (675,000) still leads the rest of the field by a hefty amount, being the only player so far to have bagged half a million.
Like the first three days, starting stacks are 25,000 with blinds lasting 30 minutes and beginning at 100/100/100. Breaks will take place after every two hours of play, lasting 10 minutes apiece after Levels 4 and 8 with a 40-minute dinner break at the completion of Level 12. Late registration with unlimited re-entries will remain open through the dinner break, closing at the beginning of Level 13 at approximately 7 p.m. local time.
Registration is already open and players have been advised to arrive early in order to avoid alternate lines that will likely be unavoidable due to the event's sheer demand. With that demand, action will likely be fast and furious all day long, and PokerNews will be keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
