Kuntzman Keeps Adding Chips

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Dan Kuntzman
Dan Kuntzman

A player from middle position raised, Dan Kuntzman called from the small blind and Luke Blindert defended his big blind.

After the flop came {2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Kuntzman led out for 2,000 and only Blindert called to see the {j-Diamonds} fall on the turn.

Kuntzman fired out 4,500, Blindert called and the {10-Spades} river was checked by both players. Kuntzman rolled over {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for two-pair and it was good enough to collect another pot.

Blindert Flops Gold and Gets Paid

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Luke Blindert
Luke Blindert

There were three players that saw a {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop after an initial raise and Bob Van Syckle led out from middle position.

John Cap called from late position and action was on Luke Blindert who check-raised to 10,000 from the cutoff. Both Van Syckle and Cap called bringing the {2-Hearts} turn.

Van Syckle check-called the 12,700 bet from Blindert and the {2-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. Van Syckle checked once again only to call the 21,700 all in bet from Blindert.

Van Syckle showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trip deuces but it was no good as Blindert flopped the straight with {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and collected the double.

Eelkema Starting to Build

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Rob Wazwaz raised to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by Eric Eelkema on the button, along with the big blind.

The {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked to the {j-Spades} turn where the big blind led out and only Eelkema called to see the {6-Clubs} complete the board on the river.

Both players checked and the big blind rolled over {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a pair of eights but it was no good as Eelkema held {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to win the pot with a pair of jacks.
