Clash of Over Pairs Sends Noriegasolis the Biggest Pot of the Night

Just before the break, piles of chips were being sent in the direction of Brayan Noriegasolis at the expense of Club GG qualifier Kevin Johnson.

The pair got into a raising war that ended up with a five-bet and a call to put Johnson at risk.

The runout was clean for pocket aces, and in the aftermath of the chip counting, Johnson was out and Noriegasolis was the new chip leader.

Massoud Eskandari shoved for 25,000, a player flat called, but then a third player came over the top for more.

The flatter got out of the way and Eskandari was a risk.

The flop was a great one for Eskandari as he flopped a straight flush draw. The turn was gin as he made his flush and the completed the board and Eskandari tripled up.

The small blind limped and Chris Smith checked his option to see the spread. Both players checked and they saw the turn.

The small blind led for 5,500 and Smith peeled to the river.

This time the small blind slowed down with a check and Smith tossed out 8,500. The small blind quickly called and Smith revealed for a jack-high straight to win the pot.

Chapman Knocks Out Two Bracelets Winners in One Massive Blow

A huge three-way pot was brewing across the room.

The action was on the flop and WSOP bracelet winner Massoud Eskandari was already all in from the preflop betting.

Fellow bracelet winner Katie Kopp shoved for her remaining stack and Jeff Chapman quickly called to put them both at risk.

All three players had huge hands. Eskandari had flopped a set of nines, Kopp held cowboys and Chapman held an open-ended straight draw.

The turn was gin for Chapman as he took the lead with a straight. Both players still had outs to beat him, however.

The river brought the to improve Chapman to Broadway and the two bracelets winners went down in flames with their respective sets. Eskandari reloaded while Kopp exited the tournament area.

Chapman now sits as one of the chip leaders late in the night.

Duane Graff has had a roller coaster of a day. Rising among the leaders early, before riding a short stack for several hours.

There was a shove for 17,500 from the button and Graff obliged in the small blind for his last 14,000. The big blind got out of the way and Graff was at risk.
