Burnley Takes Two In-A-Row, Sends One Out

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was already about 22,000 in the middle on the {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} turn and the player in seat nine was all in.

Reggie Burnley had moved all in for 14,500 total over a bet of 5,000 from the player in seat seven and was awaiting a decision. After some thought, seat seven folded.

At-Risk Player: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Reggie Burnley: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Burnley had the pot on lockdown with his set of fives and picked up a nice pot.

On the next hand, Burnley raised to 1,200, and his opponent from the previous hand in seat seven three-bet up to 6,000.

Burnley called and they saw the {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} spread. Both players checked to the {8-Spades} turn and Burnley fired out 7,000.

Seat seven open-folded ace-king and went on to bust shortly afterward.

Aces Again for Lagorio Sends Buckley Out

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Devin Lagorio
Devin Lagorio

There was a loud sound across the room and it was Devin Lagorio who just picked up pocket aces again in a span of about 15 minutes.

Lagorio recounted that he got his chips in the middle against DJ Buckley on the turn.

Buckley held a set of sevens but an ace from space fell on the river to give Lagorio the better set.

Lagorio now holds three starting stacks, while Buckley exited the tournament area.

Segura and Kluber Clash Again

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

ClubGG qualifiers Arturo Segura and Ronald Kluber are back at the same table again after an early all-in confrontation.

There was about 9,000 in the pot on the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades} river and Segura bet 3,000. Kluber called.

Segura showed {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a rivered set.

"Are you kidding me," asked Kluber. "Wow."

Aces Versus Kings Propels Lagorio

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Devin Lagorio has a lot more chips in front of him.

He was showing pocket aces and his opponent's pocket kings were mucked by the dealer.

The table recounted that all the money went in preflop and both players also flopped a set.

With that, Lagorio more than doubles his starting stack in the early going.
