Dan Bekavac
Dan Bekavac

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Dan Bekavac and Kristen Deardorff were left heads-up. There was around 18,000 in the middle and Bekavac led out with a bet of 12,500 which Deardorff called.

The river brought the {2-Spades} and Bekavac splashed in a bet of 25,000. Deardorff dipped into the tank for over three minutes before the clock was finally called. At that moment, Deardorff made the call and Bekavac flipped over a flush to take the pot.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the action checked to Platt who bet 3,400. Java called and the other player folded. The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and Java check-called another bet of 8,700 from Platt.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Java led out with a bet of 21,000 this time. Platt thought for a brief moment but decided to lay his hand down, sending the chips to Java.

"Get Him Outta Here!"

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Carlton Peake opened to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Dan Bekavac on the button. The blinds came along as well and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The action checked around to Bekavac who threw in a bet of 5,000. Both of the blinds folded but Peake called to see the {k-Clubs} on the turn.

That slowed the action as both players checked to the {7-Clubs} on the river. Peake led out with a bet of 15,000 this time and Bekavac mulled it over before dumping his card into the muck. Peake showed his {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for the nut flush as he raked in the pot.

After the hand, the tournament director moved Peake to another table as the upcoming big blind. "Get him outta here!" Bekavac joked as he gave Peake a fist pound before leaving the table.
